Ella M.

Ella grew up as a third culture kid in Taiwan and Hong Kong—an experience that sparked her love of travel, deep empathy for others, and a lifelong craving for scallion pancakes. Ella’s art is all about noticing. Guided by curiosity, she captures still life scenes inspired by strangers, memories, and stories—her favorite subjects to draw are chairs.

Ella has worked with children in many roles, including nanny, camp counselor, tutor, au pair, and now, teacher. She’s currently pursuing her Master’s in Childhood Education, with a focus on supporting multilingual learners and special education students.

Blue is her favorite color, carrots are her go-to snack, and there’s pretty much always a crayon in her pocket. She’s excited to keep learning, growing, and making alongside the Little Makers!
