Birthday FAQs

General Party Guidelines​
1. How many guests can you accommodate?
  • Private parties accommodate up to 30 guests (including kids and adults). For the best art activity experience, we recommend no more than 16 kids. If your guest list exceeds 30, please contact us at info@littlemakersstudio.com to discuss accommodations.

2. What happens if my guest count exceeds the maximum limit?
  • If the guest count exceeds the limit on the day of the event, an over-capacity fee of $350 will be charged.​

​

Arrival & Departure​
3. When can we arrive to set up for our party?
  • The host family may arrive 20 minutes before the scheduled party start time.

  • Guests will not be admitted earlier to allow for setup and to avoid disruptions to ongoing studio programs.

4. How long can we stay after the party?
  • Guests are expected to leave at the designated end time.

  • The host family may stay up to 20 minutes after to gather belongings.

  • If anyone remains beyond this time, a late departure fee of $250 per 15 minutes will be charged.

5. Can I add extra time to my party?
  • No, additional time cannot be added as an add-on. The duration of your party is set in your booking package and cannot be extended.​

Event Payment & Deposits​
6. How do I pay for my event?
  • A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your party date.

  • The remaining 50% balance is due 3 days before the event.

  • Any events, including parties, field trips, or private bookings, scheduled with less than two weeks’ notice will incur a $200 short-notice staffing fee. This fee goes directly to the Little Makers Studio team members working the event to accommodate last-minute scheduling and staffing needs.

7. What happens if I don’t pay the balance on time?
  • If the final payment is not received 3 days prior to the event, your party may be canceled without a refund.​

Gratuity & Additional Fees​
12. Is gratuity included?
  • Gratuity is not included or expected. If you want to show our team some love, leave a Google review! Your feedback helps get our team recognition or their amazing work, and helps other families discover Little Makers Studio for their own celebrations. 

  • If your party requires additional staff, an extra $25 per staff member will be added.​

13. What are the possible additional fees?
  • Over-capacity fee: $350 (if exceeding guest limit)

  • Late departure fee: $250 per 15 minutes

  • Outside food/drink cleaning fee: $100 (bringing your own cake is allowed without a cleaning fee)

  • Custom themed decor and art project: $150 for Mini Makers, $250 for Crafty Creators​

Guest Policies​
8. Can I drop off my child at the party?
  • Children must be at least 4 years old to be dropped off.

  • Any child under 4 years old must be accompanied by a grown-up.​

​

Decorations & Vendors​
9. Can I bring my own decorations?
  • Yes, but decorations must be pre-assembled before arriving.

  • Not allowed: piñatas, balloon air walkers, confetti, or wall decorations.

​

10. Can I hire outside vendors or entertainers?
  • Email any requests to info@littlemakersstudio.com. Outside vendors or entertainment are permitted for an additional cleaning fee. (e.g. face painters are okay, a live band is not allowed.)​

​

Food & Drink​
11. Can I bring my own food and drinks? Yes, but all food must follow these guidelines:
  • Nut-free

  • Ready to serve (no setup or assistance provided)

  • No hot food (burners, hot plates, and warmers are not allowed)

  • No outside vendors/caterers

  • Hosts must provide: plates, utensils, cups, and candles.

  • Any outside food or drink will incur a $100 cleaning fee. (excluding dessert for the party)
